With the greatest attention to detail, Drew and Robert attach the grounding wire to the lightning arrestor. The lightning arrestor can be seen in the middle of the picture attached to the amplifier. Since all 3 antennas are combined by the splitter before heading into the amplifier, all of the sensitive radio gear can be protected from the high energy electromagnetic fields generated by near-miss lightning strikes with only one arrestor.
